How can I be Successful?

June 22nd, 2016

How can I be successful in business? A young man struggling in his first year of business asked me that a couple of weeks ago. My answer was not complicated, Not that I’m that smart, Its just that it is simple, but difficult. Before I give you my answer let me put it in context:  James 4:13-17 (NIV2011)
13  Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
14  Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15  Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
16  As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.
17  If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

And

Deuteronomy 8:18 (NIV2011)
18  But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

It all starts with the Lord with that being understood as my context this is what I said:

Pray

Work Hard

Give more than you take

Pray

Concentrate on value and not price

Build good will

Pray

Keep your word even if it costs you, if it cost you learn from it and don’t do it again.

Learn from your mistakes and don’t repeat them

Never stop learning, never stop growing

Pray

Show up early and stay late

Be where you are

Be faithful

Pray

If someone is doing it better, go and meet them and see what they will teach you. For your professional journey you can visit social media sites where you can find the word of God and help to get on the right path. With your platform you can use SocialBoosting to boost your account and gain credibility to start growing and monetize your content.

And most important thing is trust God and pray. and thats the way I see it in my market.

I really like this post because it can be about every day life and growing closer to God, instead of just a business aspect, it can be used in our every day growth as believers.
